Welcome!

My name is Stephanie and I am a Licensed Marital & Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience helping people to better understand themselves, build confidence  and experience more meaningful connections.

Persistent exposure to stress can show up in our bodies, our work ethic, our social interactions, sleep habits and so much more. What happens to us early in life influences our ability to cope with the stress and setbacks that life can throw at us. Whether it's a chronic health issue, recent or past trauma, grief, or relationship conflict, you don't have to experience it alone. I have an integrative and person-centered approach that uses the therapeutic relationship to rebuild connection to yourself, partner, and the world.

I have expertise in the biopsychosocial interplay between health and relationships. I use a systems and developmental approach that integrates attachment-based, mindfulness and somatic practices. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we will work together to find the resources you need to get yourself unstuck from problematic patterns.

Additionally, I am trained in medical family therapy and specialize in medical issues and trauma such as chronic illness/pain, TBI, reproductive health, and athletic injuries. Health issues, whether acute or chronic, are overwhelming, unfamiliar and isolating. Medical environments can be stressful, defeating, frustrating and difficult to process. I aim to help people explore ways to navigate health crises, develop a new normal and move toward empowerment and improved self-management.

It takes tremendous courage to take that initial step and reach out. If you've been thinking about therapy for a while, even just an email can feel overwhelming. I'm happy to help you get started in the process!

Compensation

I accept UHC insurance, self-pay, and can provide superbills. Important to note: Due to the limitations of insurance billing, Couples and family therapy is 100% private pay.
