Hi! I’m Halle, and I’m so excited to meet you! My pronouns are she/her. I’m a 2024 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University’s M.A. in Counseling program. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor in Missouri, and I’m currently finishing up my training to become a Registered Play Therapist.

I work with young children, teens, and young adults as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up. Whether we’re talking about anxiety, depression, perfectionism, family or friendship struggles, trauma, or a big life transition, my goal is to make therapy feel like a place where you can truly be yourself.

I know that starting therapy can feel a little scary, which is why I work hard to create a space that feels comfortable and welcoming. I’m a big believer that therapy doesn’t always have to feel so serious. We can laugh and be silly while still doing meaningful work together. I want my clients to feel heard, understood, and accepted for exactly who they are. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, confidence, and a therapeutic toolbox to navigate life’s stressors.

I take a person-centered approach and incorporate Adlerian Theory, play therapy, sandtray, CBT, and ACT to create an experience that feels personalized to each client. I want to hear it all! How you grew up, your big experiences, how you see yourself, your relationships, and the environments you’re navigating currently. These elements are what make you, YOU! I do my best to create a unique treatment plan that meets each of my clients exactly where they’re at.

In my time outside of the therapist’s chair, I love to read, exercise, and spend time with my family. I am an auntie to 5 kiddos and a big sister to 2, which keeps me pretty busy! I travel often with my husband, and we are always on the hunt for local businesses to support in STL. I am a HUGE reality TV fan and have a long-standing passion for coffee. 

I’m so excited for the privilege of working alongside the other clinicians at The Center for Mental Wellness, and I can’t wait to meet you, future client!

I am currently offer self-pay and can provide superbills. Insurance paneling is pending.
